What to contact us about

  • Tool feedback — what’s working, what’s confusing, what you’d like to see improved.
  • Calculation issues — a result that looks off, so we can review the logic.
  • Website suggestions — new tools, features, or general ideas for the site.
  • General questions — anything else about EarthTrek or how the tools work.

Contact FAQ

What should I include when reporting a calculation issue?

Let us know which calculator you used, the inputs you entered (distance, elevation, terrain, and so on), and the result you got. That’s usually enough for us to reproduce and review it.

Can I request a new calculator or feature?

Yes — send it through the form with “Feature suggestion” as your subject. We read every message, though we can’t guarantee every idea gets built.

How long does it take to get a response?

EarthTrek is run by a small team, so replies can take a few days. Messages about incorrect calculations are generally prioritized.

Does EarthTrek offer hiking advice or trip planning services?

No — EarthTrek provides calculators and planning tools, not personalized trip advice, guiding services, or emergency support. For safety-critical questions, please consult local trail authorities or professionals.

I found incorrect information on the site — how do I report it?

Use the form with “Website correction” as the subject, and include the page URL and what looked wrong. We appreciate reports like this.

Can I contribute content or partner with EarthTrek?

We’re happy to hear proposals — send a short outline of what you have in mind through the form and we’ll follow up if it’s a fit.
